NICOLE O’NEILL, MD

BOARD CERTIFIED INTERNAL MEDICINE

A native of Michigan, Dr. Nicole O’Neill (formerly Dr. Tromble) pursued a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology, Pre-Medicine, double minor in chemistry and psychology at the University of Michigan.  Dr. O’Neill’s Medical Doctorate was earned at Wayne State University School of Medicine.  Post-graduate training and residency training was performed at St. Joseph Mercy Health System in Ann Arbor. After completing one year of residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology Dr. O’Neill made a decision to pursue a profession with greater breadth in Internal Medicine with a focus on Women’s Health. While she arrived at a medicine-based career, she considers herself a Proceduralist. Although passionate about office and OR procedures a difficult decision was made to forego the surgical aspect of OB/GYN.

Dr. O’Neill's medical affiliations include the American College of Physicians; the American Medical Association; the National Association of Menopause Society, as well as ASLMS. Dr. O’Neill is a Certified Expert in cosmetic injectables and many aesthetic treatments including HydraFacial, PRP, Microneedling, and PlasmaPen.

MICHAEL BEAU O’NEILL

CEO

Michael O’Neill received his Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University in Kinesiology, with a minor in Business Administration. His Master of Arts from Wayne State University is in Sports Administration and he is currently enrolled in the Portland Seminary through George Fox University pursuing a Doctorate in Ministry (graduation May 2024).

A leader in the health and business fields, Michael O’Neill is the Co-Founder of Med 1 Aesthetics and the Kinergy Lifestyle Center with his wife Dr. Nicole O’Neill.

HEIDI GOHL

EXECUTIVE OPERATIONS

Heidi Gohl has served in multiple roles at Med1, Kinergy, and other company developments since 2015. Heidi holds a BA in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health.

Heidi is married with two daughters and brings joy to the workplace and home each day, Heidi has a strong passion for helping people and making every environment welcoming. She has seamlessly stepped into the role of Executive Operations to ensure our practice runs smoothly and efficiently.

Heidi’s career is a testament to her dedication to achieving operational excellence. She has a knack for dissecting complex challenges and transforming them into streamlined, efficient processes. Her ability to see the bigger picture while simultaneously focusing on the smallest details has consistently delivered outstanding results for the organizations she's worked with.

Heidi primarily manages operations from our Wyandotte location.

Dr. Nicole O’Neill is like no other physician. She stands alone in her intelligence, beauty, kindness, and skill. When you meet her, you will see why she is nicknamed “the doctor that cares.” You will immediately feel like family when you become a patient of hers and build a personal relationship that is strong and confidential.

Dr. Nicole is a true artist and highly experienced! She worked as Chief Resident at St. Joe’s, then seven years at Chelsea Medicine in family practice and aesthetics before opening her private hybrid practice (Med1, Aesthetics & Lifestyle Medicine) in 2015. She holds numerous certifications in dermatology, aesthetic treatments, and other procedures.

PEGGY BURNS, RN

REGISTERED NURSE | INJECTION SPECIALIST

Peggy received her nursing degree from Henry Ford College and aesthetic training through Aesthetic Medical Educators Training (AMET). After working as a Medical Assistant for 10 years, Peggy served as an RN for 16 years, primarily in the ER. She is a married mother of 6 with a blended family and an 8-year-old granddaughter.

Raising her three daughters instilled how important it is for women to feel good about themselves. The medical aesthetics field has offered her a unique way to use her passion for helping people for a cause she truly believes in.

Peggy treats patients in both our Ann Arbor and Wyandotte offices.

JESSICA MILLER, RN, BSN

REGISTERED NURSE | INJECTION SPECIALIST

Jessica received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University and her aesthetic training through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE). After working as a nurse's aide for two years, Jessica served as an RN for 21 years primarily in Cardiology and Case Management. She is a married mother of 11-year-old twin girls and a 16-year-old son.

Jessica looks forward to bringing her compassion and professionalism to the ever-expanding world of aesthetic medicine. She is dedicated to blending the art of aesthetics and the science of nursing to empower individuals to feel confident in their own skin. Her constant goal is to ensure a comfortable, safe, and positive client experience.

KATE BOGOSIAN, LE

MASTER ESTHETICIAN | SKINCARE SPECIALIST

Kate attended Michigan College of Beauty in 1999 and has since gone on to continue her education as a medical/spa esthetician for over the last 20 years in Michigan and Arizona.

Working as a Master Esthetician in every area of the med spa/resort spa world has given Kate an advanced edge over other professionals in the field. She has outstanding knowledge in the healthy aging of the skin, with her main focusing being on anti-aging, skincare, and skincare education. Kate’s passion for her craft and dedication to continued education in this ever-advancing field is an energy you can feel when you are in her hands.

MARY WARD, LE, BSW

LICENSED ESTHETICIAN | SKINCARE SPECIALIST

Mary is a Licensed Esthetician and medical social worker, with training and education from Douglas J Ann Arbor and a BSW from the University of Toledo. Mary has also trained in multiple aesthetic medical modalities, and holistic Ayurveda techniques for skin care and lymphatic work, specializing in both Ayurveda and Asian body treatments.

Her passion for helping others begins with working with her patients to create a treatment plan. Grounding her background as a medical social worker with her love for aesthetics and healing, she believes in educating her clients to ensure the optimization of the best of western medicine with eastern traditions.

Mary treats patients primarily at our Ann Arbor medical spa location and occasionally in our Wyandotte medical spa.

KORI BONELLO, LE

LICENSED ESTHETICIAN | SKINCARE SPECIALIST

Kori earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Monroe County Community College, further training with the Douglas J Aveda Institute, and and 6 years of experience in the field as a Licensed Esthetician.

Kori is a skin specialist, focusing on helping her patients achieve glowing, beautiful skin with custom facials, dermaplaning, HydraFacials, Teeth Whitening, and more. She utilizes ayurvedic massage techniques to ensure full relaxation for her guests while she performs skin treatments, providing an immersive med spa experience.

Kori treats patients at our Wyandotte location.

ABIGAIL FORMELLA

PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR

Abigail is our Patient Care Coordinator in our Ann Arbor and Wyandotte offices. She is attending Eastern Michigan University with a Nursing Intent. She is passionate about how the body works and can heal itself and enjoys how medical aesthetics works with natural anatomy. Abigail has a strong interest in health and fitness and enjoys incorporating it daily on walks with her mom.

Abigail handles patient care in our Ann Arbor location.

Courtney wears many hats at Med1 and helps spread the word about our products and services. A visionary Marketing Director with a flair for creativity that elevates every campaign. With her unique blend of artistic sensibility and marketing expertise, Courtney has consistently proven herself as a dynamic force in the industry.

Courtney’s journey began with a passion for the arts, which she seamlessly fused with her marketing acumen to create unforgettable brand experiences. Her ability to think beyond the conventional boundaries of marketing has led to groundbreaking campaigns that captivate audiences and drive results.

Courtney is not just a marketing professional; she's a collaborative genius who infuses every project with infectious enthusiasm. FACILITIES MANAGER | FAIRY FENG SHUI

Kelly Daniels is magical, and her likeness has been described as that of a unicorn. She heads the management of multiple facilities and beautifies our buildings and furnishings.

Kelly is the creative genius behind the decor and finishings and brings the real vision of Med 1 Aesthetics to life through her hard work and imagination. Although she is rarely seen in person, word is, that if you catch her she turns into a handful of glitter.

Kelly beautifies both our Ann Arbor and Wyandotte locations.

DAVE LUCE

HEAD OF MAINTENANCE

Dave Luce is our dedicated and steadfast Head of Maintenance. He is often seen (and heard) throughout the hallways of Med 1 Aesthetics and the Kinergy Lifestyle Center keeping everything operating and functioning.

Dave puts his heart and soul into everything he does and works tirelessly to make sure that everyone’s needs are met. Depending on the day, you may encounter Dave, Davey, or Super Dave. Fun fact: an entire wing of the Kinergy Lifestyle Center has been dedicated in Dave’s honor.
