Following her residency, Dr. O’Neill earned the prestigious distinction of Chief Resident and Fellow of Internal Medicine. She spent an additional post-doctorate year as a Hospitalist Attending Physician at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, where she served on the academic teaching faculty—supervising residents, developing medical curricula, and mentoring peers in research data analysis.

Driven by her passion for specialized care, she created a comprehensive Women’s Health curriculum for the residency program. She then served as an attending physician in the Women’s Health Clinic for 1.5 years while earning a national certification as a distinguished provider through the North American Menopause Society (NAMS).

During her residency, Dr. O’Neill focused extensively on office dermatology and complex inpatient dermatologic consults. She pursued advanced training in cosmetic dermatology alongside specialized colleagues, developing deep expertise in a wide array of advanced modalities:
