Which One is Right for You?
Both eyelash growth serums are made to regrow thicker, longer lashes, but there are a couple of key differences:
They differ in their manufacturing companies.
Careprost is less expensive than Latisse.
The Treatment
Great eyelashes don't happen overnight. It's important to note that bimatoprost solutions work gradually and remarkably — with full results at 16 weeks.
For best results, continue applying the topical solution each night and follow the directions. If you stop using the product at any time, your eyelashes will return to their previous appearance over the next several weeks to months.
Set your sights on growth
As the treatment progresses, you'll first begin to see changes in length. Then, gradually, you'll notice more thickness and darkness in your lashes. If you're satisfied with your results by week 8, don't stop there. Stick with the treatment. After week 16, you'll see the full effect of LATISSE® solution — and so will others. After that, you can talk to your doctor about ongoing use.
What is bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03%?
A natural, convenient solution to longer, fuller eyelashes, bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03% is a prescription treatment that is purchased at our office and used at home. For optimal results, this treatment must be applied once daily, and we recommend including it as part of your regular routine by applying it in the evening.
When will I notice results?
Growing natural eyelashes is not immediate, and while many clients see visible results after eight weeks of treatment, it is recommended to continue treatment for the full 16 weeks in order to achieve maximum hair growth and volume.
Treatment should be continued as long as the client desires longer, fuller eyelashes, as discontinuing treatment causes the lashes to eventually return to their previous state.
Application Instructions
Remove makeup and contact lenses before applying the product.
With the applicator horizontal, place 1 drop of solution on the brush.
Draw the applicator along the base of the upper eyelashes from the inner to the outer corner, where the lashes meet the skin. Repeat on the other side.
Blot any excess solution beyond the eyelid with a tissue.
Use a sterile applicator to minimize the potential for infection.
