Prescription Refill Policy

We continue to strive to offer our patients the best and most comprehensive care on prescription medications. As your healthcare provider, we want to keep you aware of upcoming prescription medication policy changes that may affect your medications.

  • Prescription medication refills must be called into our office at (734) 780-7070. Please do not call, text, email, or message Dr. O’Neill directly with prescription requests, as requests of this nature will not be filled.

  • All prescriptions must be submitted electronically by our front desk staff. Prescriptions can only be addressed during regular office hours (M-F 9am-5pm). Prescriptions will not be addressed on Saturdays, Sundays, or on Holidays.

  • It is your responsibility as a patient to notify our office in a timely manner when a refill is required. Refill approval and processing may take up to 7-10 business days so please plan accordingly. Do not wait until you are completely out of medication before requesting a refill with our office.

  • Prescriptions and refills can take up to 7-10 business days to process. Please expect and plan accordingly.

  • Follow-up appointments may be required before a prescription can be filled. It is essential to keep your scheduled appointment to ensure that you receive timely refills. Repeated no-shows or cancellations can result in a denial of refills. Appointments are required every 3 months at a minimum while taking any of the medications listed above, including weight loss medications. It is your responsibility to schedule an appointment before you run out of medication. We recommend scheduling your next visit before leaving our office.

  • We will only authorize refills on medication prescribed by providers from our office. We do not refill medications prescribed by other providers.

  • If you have any questions regarding medications, please discuss these during your appointment. If for any reason, you feel your medication needs to be adjusted or changed please get in touch with us immediately. You may be required to be seen for an evaluation in order to make these adjustments in medication.

  • New symptoms or events require a new, in-person clinic appointment.


How to Request a Refill

To refill your prescription, please call us at (734) 780-7070 between the hours of 10 am- 5 pm Monday-Friday. Please do not call, text, email, or message Dr. O’Neill directly.

You may also request a refill via email to info@med1aesthetics.com. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message. The following information is required for all refill requests to avoid delays:

  • Your full name and date of birth

  • Name of prescription medication to be refilled, strength, dosage, quantity, and date of your last refill (including any refills by other physicians)

  • Pharmacy name, location, and phone number
